Official Puerto Rico portals for a move
Start from the official agency or Puerto Rico government directory, distinguish information from a transaction, and preserve the receipt, reference number, status, and completed record for every task.

Open the portal for the task
The links below were verified August 28, 2026. Begin at the official landing page when available, confirm the agency and service name, and expect a transaction to hand off to a separate government application domain. The Government Digital directory is the current cross-agency starting point. [1]
| Task | Official entry point | Use and limit |
|---|---|---|
| Puerto Rico taxes and SURI | Hacienda's SURI page · Open SURI [2] [3] | Choose the exact tax, registration, filing, payment, certificate, or vehicle task. An account screen or payment attempt is not proof that Hacienda accepted or completed it. |
| Driver license, identification, and vehicle services | CESCO [4] | Select the transaction before assembling documents, forms, vouchers, or an appointment. Requirements and availability can vary by service and date. |
| Recorded property interests | Property Registry [5] | Use RIDPR for Registry information and services. A CRIM parcel or tax record is not a substitute for title, recorded encumbrances, deed analysis, or appropriate professional review. |
| Property tax and parcel information | CRIM 360 [6] | Use CRIM for the relevant parcel, account, tax, debt, exemption, value, payment, or certification question. Confirm that identifiers match the property before relying on a result. |
| Permits and incentives | OGPe · DDEC Incentives Portal [7] [8] | Identify the exact permit, consultation, case, filing, incentive, or post-grant action. Portal submission does not establish approval, legal compliance, grant coverage, or completion. |
| Electricity and water | LUMA residential service requests · PRASA [9] [10] | Distinguish a new connection, existing-property start, transfer, account change, repair, disconnection, payment, or outage question. Preserve the service-location and meter identifiers. |
| Health coverage and professional licenses | Puerto Rico Medicaid · Health-professional license verification [11] [12] | An application is not an eligibility decision, and a professional license record does not prove network participation, appointment availability, clinical fit, or quality. |
| Public-school enrollment | DEPR enrollment [13] | Use the current enrollment and Regional Educational Office path. Submission does not by itself confirm the school, seat, program, transportation, services, or start date. |
Protect the account and the transaction
- Enter from an official source. Use the agency site or Government Digital directory instead of a search advertisement, forwarded login link, or unofficial checklist. Confirm the domain before entering identity, tax, payment, or health information.
- Use an account you control. Store the unique password in a password manager, enable multifactor authentication when offered, protect recovery methods, and never disclose a one-time code to someone who contacted you unexpectedly.
- Name the exact task. Record the agency, portal, account, person or property, service name, form or case type, source-check date, required evidence, deadline, and expected output before beginning.
- Save durable evidence. Keep the submitted form or data, uploaded documents, payment receipt, timestamp, confirmation email, reference or case number, status history, agency correspondence, and final approved or completed record.
Record the state the agency actually confirmed
| State | What it proves | What it does not prove |
|---|---|---|
| Prepared | The user has gathered information or completed a draft | The agency received anything |
| Submitted | The portal accepted a transmission at a recorded time | The submission is complete, correct, paid, reviewed, or approved |
| Received or under review | The agency assigned or acknowledged the matter | The agency agrees with the request or will meet the user's target date |
| Approved | The identified decision was approved subject to its written terms | Every follow-up payment, issuance, inspection, filing, connection, pickup, or post-approval duty is complete |
| Completed | The defined service or record was delivered and verified | A different agency, tax, permit, title, licensing, service, or compliance task is also complete |
Use the official fallback when a portal fails
- Confirm the official service page, supported transaction, maintenance notice, browser or file requirements, and whether the agency provides another portal, telephone, email, mail, or office path.
- Preserve the exact error, time, portal address, transaction type, reference number, deadline, and non-sensitive steps already attempted. Do not repeatedly submit or pay without understanding whether the prior attempt succeeded.
- Contact the responsible agency through a number or address published on its official site. Ask what state the prior transaction reached and what evidence will close the task.
- Record the fallback submission and final result in the same control sheet. A telephone assurance is useful context, but preserve the agency's written confirmation when the outcome matters.
Move control sheet
Keep one owner, source, date, reference number, evidence file, state, and next step for every move task.
